The Goodhart Bursary for Young Carers has been set up to provide educational grants to assist young carers looking after a member of their family who may be sick, disabled or suffer from mental health problems, including addictions. With so many grown-up responsibilities, these children miss out on childhood activities and struggle to attend and achieve at state school. The opportunity to board gives them respite from their caring duties and a chance to succeed.
Thank you for your donations to date which have enabled this fund to reach over £60,000 in 9 months! We need your help to reach our goal of £100,000 to fund 40 children over a 10 year period.
