Parenting on a Low Income: Stress, Support and Children's Well-being
The Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Alistair Darling, MP, launched the final report of this research project - a major report entitled 'Living with hardship 24/7: the diverse experiences of families in poverty in England', with a Foreword written by the Prime Minister, at the City of London's Guildhall on 14th November 2007.

Partnership with The Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust
The Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust, set up in memory of the murdered lawyer, aims to help city children from deprived backgrounds, and give them greater life opportunities.

The charity is working in partnership with The Frank Buttle Trust and paying for a number of disadvantaged London children to receive secondary education at an independent day or boarding school, for up to seven years.

The children will have acute social, emotional or health needs which are not being met within the state system. We welcome this opportunity to work in partnership with the Trustees of The Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust.
